Hi, I’m David.

I’m glad you stumbled upon my little corner of the internet. Whether you’re here to recruit me, connect, browse for fun, or you’re just a particularly dedicated stalker, I hope you find what you’re looking for.
If you are a recruiter and want to find out whether your role is a good fit for me, check out the… drum roll… recruiter quiz.

My research experience spans a variety of areas, from traditional machine learning, where I’ve worked on AutoML and forecasting, to the ever-hyped LLM space, where I developed a novel pruning technique inspired by graph theory. These days, I’m at the Visual Geometry Group at Oxford, exploring the limits of 3D pose estimation in uncalibrated multi-view scenes. For more details, check out my publications.

How did I end up here? Curiosity, dedication, hard work, and, honestly, a fair bit of luck. When I started my bachelor’s program in cooperation with Amazon Web Services four years ago, I stumbled into the field of machine learning and quickly fell in love.
At AWS, I began in a sales team and was immediately fascinated with the energy of the tech world. As my technical capabilities grew, I kept challenging myself and transitioned into research and development roles. With SageMaker in Berlin and later at the Amazon Research Center in Tübingen, I honed the ability to dive deep into technical research topics and became increasingly immersed in the rigors of scientific exploration.
